Kholas Dates stuffed with Karak Tea — Al Barzah Collection
Kholas Dates stuffed with Karak Tea capture the flavour of the UAE's best-loved tea in a single bite: premium Emirati Kholas dates with a rich karak tea filling. Created for The Date Room's Al Barzah Collection, they celebrate the everyday ritual of sharing karak with friends and family.
Karak is part of daily life in the Emirates — poured at neighbourhood cafés, offered to guests and enjoyed at every gathering. We have taken its warm, aromatic character and paired it with the soft, caramel-like sweetness of Kholas dates, creating a filling that tastes familiar yet entirely new.
Enjoy them with a cup of karak or Arabic coffee, set them out for visiting guests, or gift a box to anyone who loves the flavours of home. They are especially welcome at office gatherings, family visits and celebrations.
Filling: karak tea.
Contains: milk.
Net Weight: 500g

What is Al Barzah?
In Emirati heritage, Al Barzah (البرزة) is the traditional majlis where the ruler or governor opens his doors to the community — welcoming elders, notables and members of the public alike to talk over the matters of the day and to listen to people's needs. Anyone could come forward and be heard, and every visitor was received with the same warmth and respect.
As in every Emirati majlis, each guest was welcomed with Arabic coffee and dates. The Al Barzah Collection is our tribute to that tradition of open doors and generous welcome: seven new flavours created to be shared, each pairing premium Emirati Kholas or Fardh dates with a filling inspired by the tastes we love to offer our guests, from karak tea to sesame tahini.
